Disappointing

Very disappointing. I've been using grip plus pencils by Faber Castell for years and love them, especially for doing sudoku puzzles where I have to flick from pencil to eraser and back frequently. I thought I'd try this one for a change, its a little cheaper, I liked the sound of the rubber barrel, the self advancing lead and it came in purple which I like! I've done one puzzle with it and I wont be using it again. The eraser twist mechanism, can be overridden by a press mechanism which also extends the lead and so the eraser will disappear mid use and the lead be extended and then break - because it is too long and I haven't noticed. The rubber barrel is nice, and it feels good to write with but sadly that is all. I didn't use it for long enough to experience the automatic advance of the lead for tireless prolific writing as advertised. Definitely not as good as the previous slightly more expensive model to which i will revert, .
