good pen, but cap falls off

A nice pen, but after a few months the cap is no longer able to clip on and remain attached. I normally buy pens with screw-on caps and now I regret buying this pen. lovely wood body and smooth writer though, but I never ink it because as the cap falls off it gets ink everywhere.

Cap keeps falling off

Lovely fountain pen to write with, but the cap keeps falling off after one and a half years of daily use. It attaches firmly to the back of the pen, so I guess the problem lies with wear and tear of the black (plastic ?) piece to which the cap is supposed to stick. This plastic piece also holds the nib into place. I wonder whether there are any replacement parts available.>>>>>>> FABER-CASTELL REPLIES: Dear customer, we deeply regret your negative experience with our product.
