The Ambition series, made of superior brushed precious resin, exhibits some fascinating nuances of colour. Rich berry colours grace these writing implements with their characteristic slim profile. Fresh raspberry emanates pure energy and makes an exciting contrast to the gleaming chrome-plated metal nose and end pieces. The discrete plum colour, on the other hand, is warm and gentle. The ball-point pen is equipped with a twist mechanism to extend and retract the large-capacity refill, line width B.

The curvaceous silhouette of the e-motion series now appears in a new and fascinating mix of materials. Fine dark pearwood lends a note of warmth to the ergonomic barrel, contrasting effectively with the matt coating of the synthetic front and end pieces. The properties of natural wood make each writing implement a unique blend of individual grain structure and nuances, as well as giving a pleasant feel.

The familiar continuously variable twist mechanism of the pencil is very convenient in use, while the tough 1.4-mm lead is smooth and dependable. When corrections are necessary, an extra-large replaceable eraser is at the ready under the end cap. The ballpoint pen has a large-capacity replaceable refill. The “Design” line from Faber-Castell reflects the beauty with which an individual handwriting style is expressed. The Ondoro series also entices the writer to putting his thoughts and notes down on paper at once. The barrel made from precious resin, framed with end-pieces in chrome-plated metal, is now available for the first time in shining pure white.

The highly unusual shape is characteristic of the Ondoro: its hexagonal barrel is an expression of a unique personality that appeals equally to both men and women who love the fine art of fine writing. The Ondoro embodies the elegance of straight lines par excellence and provides the highest level of writing comfort.

The propelling pencil has a tough 0.7 mm lead and has a replaceable eraser under the end-cap. The ballpoint is fitted with a large-capacity, line-width B black refill, whose point is extended and retracted by means of a twist mechanism. For quick notes we recommend the roller-ball, with a cap that fits either end, a sprung metal clip, and quick-drying ink to ensure your writing does not smudge. The heart of the Ondoro series is the fountain pen. With its cartridge/converter system it can be refilled with ink from the bottle or with standard cartridges. The high-quality stainless steel nib is available in a choice of widths M, F or B, and glides over the paper with a silky smoothness.

Basic Black: Carbon fibre, leather and mother of pearl

The BASIC series gets its name from its purist lines. The existing writing implements made of fine cedar or poplar wood, or chrome plated, play an important part in the Faber-Castell designer assortment for those with high aesthetic standards.

Now the new BASIC Black models add a new accent. The roller-ball and ball pen have barrels made of carbon fibre, mother of pearl, or leather. The ribbed grip zone matches the colour. The mother-of-pearl variant offers an additional eye-catcher: the grip zone and cap are discreetly inlaid with glittering particles – items to grace any desk!
